Jackie Perry has a Fine Arts degree from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, MD.   Teaching has dominated her career paths, however,  painting is now her passion.  As a local artist of Virginia, her paintings have been exhibited at local shows and in government centers, libraries and wineries around the area. Currently, Jackie’s paintings can be viewed at the Loft Gallery in Occoquan, VA, OBXArtspace Gallery, Duck, NC and in the Sea and Sound Gallery, in Manteo, NC.

Jackie uses the medium Acrylic because of it’s vibrant colors and versatility.  The subjects are mostly florals, however seascapes, landscapes and figures offer other channels of creativity.  A specialty is painting in acrylic and framing under glass for an unusual effect on her impressionistic and edgy style.
