Natalie Shudt - Natalie Shudt’s work blends a love of textiles, color, and form. She uses silks, wools and other fine fabrics, stitching and quilting them heavily enough to be constructed into three dimensional sculptures inspired by botanical and architectural forms. Natalie spent her early career as a business strategy consultant and worked across the U.S., Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. She learned to sew as a child and her passion for fiber was rekindled as she traveled through Southeast Asia, inspired by the silks in Thailand and embroidery of Vietnam.
