About the Artist: Janet Hansen Martinet always loved art and nature; she concentrated on watercolor after studying art in college. Sometimes adding pen & ink and other mixed media techniques to her watercolors, Janet finds the journey of the paint through water fascinating. The fluidity of watercolor adds life, which is based on water, to her work.
Find light filled landscapes, splashing water and flowers in this exhibit. Also look for a few locomotives, a family interest.
Janet is a juried artist of the Potomac Valley Watercolorists, the Virginia Watercolor Society and p-ART-ners.
