About this Show: With March being the third month, Lynn has created “trilogies” of works using a range of painting approaches and media. Her subjects are inspired by nature and her travels. Some painting have three birds, animals or figures. Others are groups of three paintings with single subjects interpreted different ways.
About the Artist: Lynn Martin is a member of the Loft Gallery in Occoquan and has a studio in the adjoining Art Center. She works in acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink, and often combines media. After a full-time federal career in water resources science and policy, Lynn redirected her focus and energy to art. She creates art in both realistic and impressionist styles. Lynn’s work has been juried into numerous local and regional shows. She is a member of the Potomac Valley Watercolorists, The Virginia Watercolor Society, and the Springfield Art Guild, of which she is a former board member
