About the Artist: – Claire Bentley is inspired by the beauty of nature from the grandest landscape to the smallest flower. She takes many photos and these often become the subject of her artwork. Many beautiful pieces are in this exhibit.
Claire retired in 2007 from teaching and began watercolor classes at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, VA. That began her love of watercolor and many experiences with classes, workshops, and overseas travel. Claire is a member of the Springfield Art Guild, Virginia Watercolor Society, the Loft Gallery in Occoquan, VA and has participated in numerous Virginia art exhibits.
