The Loft Gallery of Occoquan invites you to their upcoming April exhibit, “Random Sightings” featuring the artwork of artist Lydia Jechorek.
Living so much in the digital world in recent times, Lydia sought to once again focus on real world scenes that surround her. Color, beautiful shadows, or a sparkle of light hitting in a certain way have always grabbed her attention as possibilities for becoming a painting. Lydia’s preference of subject matter is totally eclectic, from rural and urban scenes to capturing people in candid moments.
Lydia hopes enjoying artwork gives you a sense of wonder and might even change how you view everyday sights.
